I've been playing music for what is probably the majority of my life at this point. The thing is, I'm not all that good at it, but it brings me so much satisfaction and joy that I've kept at it over the years.
The first time I recorded music, I used one of those crappy mics that used to come with factory made computers. That song was just a simple little guitar part while my buddy David played the harmonica. Those were simpler times. These days, I've moved on to making music with my computer and iphone, which has allowed me to refine my music making to the point were it almost sounds like I know what I'm doing. The future really is wonderful.
So, for the first time, I've decided to share my music with the world under the pseudonym "Steve Hazard". I got this name when I was working a customer service job a few years back. I identified myself to one of our customers over the phone and she said "Did you say your name is 'Steve Hazard?'" In my head I was thinking, "Whoa, that name almost makes me sound badass. So, maybe it's not super different or creative, but it's real, man.
Anyway, here is my music. Very few of the tracks are full complete songs. Most are just little musical ideas that are short, unedited, unmixed, etc. But, I have no plans on doing anything with these tracks, so I'm just going to present them "as is".
Thankfully I never tried singing, so you don't have to endure anything like that. Some of the tracks are what I hesitantly call "hip-hop", while others are more rock-y, and others still go into the territory of electronic pop. In other words, a little something for everyone. Hope you like it.
